Have few flaws, but undeniably a massive achievement in film, you will be astonished by the power of the emotions it conveys and the beautiful images of a time long gone. I can’t argue that Ennu Ninte Moideen is art, or deep, or cinema at its best form, but I can say it’s a terrifically effective movie. Wont be bad if it is considered as a new age Chemmeen. It has more Malayalism than Alphonse Puthran’s Premam, or say Malabarism which may effect your viewing experience if you are not a Malayali and not familiar with the atmosphere in Kerala. You can’t forget this song nor the scene easily. Like: The scene post interval when Appu talks to Kanchana about his love and the post climax scene at Moideen’s house. The acting in this film is absolutely superb and could not have been any better. Leaving their astounding presence aside, this remains a sweeping unrivalled epic. Prithviraj and Parvathi, so passionate and magnificent that you could watch it a dozen times on that ground alone. This would have to be the most wonderful Malayalam film of this year and one that will never be forgotten. Certain aspects of this film are Award material including performances, sound, background music and cinematography. Like all real life stories, we know the ending, but it doesn’t take away from the wonderful treats that can be found in this film.
