My guitar, headphones and monitors are attached to the audio interface. My audio interface uses the factory supplied ASIO driver and all audio is handle by the interface. The motherboard has the latest bios from Asus - bios 0805.I cannot speak to your audio interfaces but can share my experiences with setting up MIDI Guitar 2. I've also looked under all the other settings in Advanced and couldn't find it anywhere.ĭoes anyone know where the setting is or how to disable xHCI in the bios. The only options are USB legacy support, USB Keyboard and Mouse simulator, and USB single port control.
I've gone into the Advanced menu of the bios, and looked under USB configuration, and there's no option to either enable/disable xHCI. However, when I go into the bios for the z370-E, there is no option to disable xHCI. But at this point, I'm willing to try anything. To be honest, I'm not sure if this will even work because the z370-E has two USB 2.0 ports at the rear, and I've tried both, and the cable still doesn't work. I'm no expert but from what I can tell, disabling xHCI will force the USB 3.0 ports to revert to USB 2.0. One possible solution that I haven't tried yet is to disable xHCI in the bios as apparently USB 3.0 doesn't work well with the Real Tone cable. I've also tried using a powered USB 2.0 hub - same error. I've tried using a different USB port on the PC - each one gave the same error message. After several hours of scouring through various forums and trying many different things, I still haven't found a fix that works.
I get the dreaded code 10 error that, based on internet research, a lot of people also seem to get. I'm trying to play Rocksmith on a PC with an Asus z370-E motherboard, but for the life of me, I can't get the PC to properly recognize the Real Tone cable that's needed to play the game.
